Less than two weeks after Temple knocked off then-No. 16 Villanova, the Owls have lost two of their last three games, including their worst performance of the season in a 61-49 loss to Richmond Tuesday night in the consolation game of the Empire Classic in Brooklyn.

Season 8, Episode 14: A look back at the Navy loss and a preview of USF

After a 27-20 overtime loss at Navy, Temple is back home this week to host USF Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field, and John DiCarlo, Kyle Gauss, Javon Edmonds and Cayden Steele wrapped up conversation about last week's loss and previewed this weekend's game against the 1-7 Bulls. 

This week's episode includes an interview with Temple wide receiver Zae Baines, who caught three passes for 56 yards - including a 35-yard reception - at Navy, and a closer look at Diane Richardson's Temple women's basketball team as Monday's season opener approaches. 

Season 8, Episode 13: Temple assistant Jimmy Fenerty previews the Owls’ roster

Temple assistant basketball coach Jimmy Fenerty joined The Scoop this week to preview an Owls roster that has NCAA Tournament aspirations. Listeners will get scouting reports on the top returning players like Khalif Battle, Damian Dunn, Jahlil White, Zach Hicks and Hysier Miller, as well as newcomers like transfer big men Kur Jongkuch and Jamille Reynolds and guard Shane Dezonie. 

The Owls, who open their season Nov. 7 at home against Wagner, scrimmaged and beat Georgetown this past weekend, and Fenerty talked about what he saw from the team against the Hoyas.

Season 8, Episode 12: Temple can beat Tulsa this week

After a lopsided, 57-point loss at UCF last Thursday on national television, Temple can - and perhaps should - get its first American Athletic Conference win Friday night at Lincoln Financial Field when the Owls host Tulsa. John DiCarlo, Kyle Gauss, Javon Edmonds and Cayden Steele talked about how Temple can beat a 2-4 Golden Hurricane team, and we have audio from first-year Temple head coach Stan Drayton talking about the team's usage of backup quarterback Quincy Patterson and the play of right tackle Victor Stoffel and how he can open up some possibilities for a struggling offensive line.
