Temple tight end David Martin-Robinson joined us on The Scoop this week to talk about what fans can expect from the Owls heading into spring ball, and he explained why he's particularly high on one of his teammates at his position and why he thinks he and the tight ends can have more of a role in the Owls' offense in 2021.
And with Temple's men's soccer team coming off a 2-0 win over No. 2 SMU over the weekend to notch the highest-ranked win in the program's history, we talked to head coach Brian Rowland about the significance of the victory and why he thinks the Owls could be on their way to becoming a nationally-significant program.
On the basketball court, second-year head coach Aaron McKie and the Owls are set to take on USF Thursday at noon on ESPNU in the first round of the American Athletic Conference tournament. We talked about the keys to the game, injury updates, and what it will take for Temple to survive and advance to play top-seeded Wichita State in the quarterfinals.

Temple center C.J. Perez joined us on The Scoop this week to talk about the mood of the program as the Owls prepare for spring football following an eventful offseason that has seen several players come and go via the NCAA's Transfer Portal.
Perez, who former played for Temple head coach Rod Carey at Northern Illinois and himself arrived on North Broad Street prior to last season as a transfer, shared some insight about some of the new members of the Owls' leadership council, talked about why he wouldn't count out Mariano Valenti in Temple's quarterback competition, and answered several reader mailbag questions.
Sam Neumann talked about his interview with former Northwestern cornerback Cameron Ruiz, Temple's latest transfer portal addition, and we examined Temple's chances of making a run in the upcoming American Athletic Conference basketball tournament.

Temple did something Wednesday night that it hadn’t done since Jan. 26: the Owls won a basketball game. They snapped a 6-game losing streak and are now 5-10 after beating USF, 65-47.
John DiCarlo, Sam Cohn and Sam Neumann recapped the win and assessed where the Owls are now with two regular-season games left on the schedule. We have audio from second-year head coach Aaron McKie, as well as sound from Sam Neumann's interview with Temple safety M.J. Griffin.
